Ageless Ultimate
by Gary Breaux
It's bound to happen to you (if it hasn't already). You'll look into the mirror one day and be struck by the reality of aging. It can hit you like a 2x4 to the head, or, if you're lucky, just a splash of cold water to the face. Either way, it's a moment that connects you to all of humanity like few other things will. Suddenly, the arc of your life becomes more clear than it ever has ever before-- you are getting older. Fortunately, there is a great way to manage this reality. Reach for your shorts, lace up your cleats and grab a Frisbee.

Setting Goals Will Make You Better
by Kevin Gaffney
Setting goals can be a confusing and sometimes annoying process. But at any level of play – from recreational to elite, beginner to expert – it will improve your game and make your playing experience more enjoyable and purposeful.
One major reason for setting goals is to strengthen your mental game, the foundation upon which the rest of your game will depend. If you do not have a solid mental foundation, your development and ultimate success as a player will be limited because your physical, technical and tactical strengths will all be on shaky ground. This is especially true when you find yourself playing in a high pressure situation.

Player Profile: Rob Seidenberg
Rob's interest in Ultimate began more than three decades ago, when Ultimate and the culture of Ultimate looked very different than they do today. Back then--at least in Buffalo, New York, where Rob grew up--Ultimate was more lumped together with other disc sports such as Freestyle and Long-throw competitions, and yes, disc golf. In fact, it was a couple of Freestylers that used to practice in a little park near Rob's house that introduced him to Ultimate at the innocent young age of 15. (Today, 33 years later, he is only slightly less innocent.)

Play Wall2Wall Indoor
Austin's next (and possibly its final) indoor Ultimate tournament is coming September 5th, 2010. Its called Wall2Wall Ultimate and will take place at the South Austin Soccer Zone (located at 9501 Manchaca Road).
If you haven't played indoor Ultimate before, here's what you need to know- the game is fast-paced, intense and with only one game played at a time....everybody's watching (and often heckling). Only five players per team play on a smaller field (M/F gender ratio starts at 4/1). The stall count is six. And, no more than 10 players total are allowed per team. If you have played indoor before, you know it's an experience all of its own.

Greetings People of the Northern Territories
My name is Russell and I'm an Ultimate-aholic. I am denying this is a problem, of course. But I'll admit that being an Ultimate-aholic and living in Hutto IS a problem. If you've ever driven through Hutto you've probably seen all those cute little Hutto Hippos decorating the town, but how many Hutto Frisbees have you seen? My guess is none.
