The Austin Scoober
Worlds 2010

The World Ultimate Club Championships run by the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) only occurs every 4 years. This past July, two teams from Austin attended the games in Prague, Czech Republic: Doublewide (open) and Showdown (women). There were also a few Austinites that played on the masters team Surly and the Chad Larson Experience, named after Austin's very own Chad Larson, also attended. These articles summarize the teams experiences and give a quick take of the differences between WFDF rules and 11th edition rules.

by Chad Larson

You may not have known we've been harboring a celebrity amidst us! World champion Iowa team "Chad Larson Experience" is christened for our very own, unassuming Austinite Chad Larson. (If you spent hour upon hour gazing at the back of his neck in high school chemistry class, you would, inexorably, seek to honor him as well.) Here is an inside scoop on the team's M.O. and the results from Worlds written by the Legend himself.
